  1. What's the deal with Big Bro Panda? I am trying not to get excited, but he continues to rake. He is 29, so he will not be a star, but any chance he makes some noise in ST?

  2. I attended a couple of San Jose Giants games this week and this is what i noticed about him:
    1. His look and play is very similar to Pablo. He has a similar pre at bat ritual where he puts an "X" in fair territory. He has similar Panda attributes and moves very well for a big guy.
    2. He needs to work on his ability to hit the off speed pitches. He drives the ball well and can center up pitches outside the zone but looks over-matched with breaking balls in the dirt.
    3. I saw him play 1st base where he seemed to play average defensively.
    4. He is old for the level and should be pushed to see what he can do.

  3. I saw Michael play in Rancho Cucamonga recently. I pretty much agree with James' assessment.
