I appreciate everybody's feedback on the Top 50 Prospect list. Keeping in mind that this year's list is much more competitive than the past several years due to the influx of new draftees and international prospects and some slowing of the "graduation" rate, I decided there was not a compelling enough reason to move anyone up that was worth rewriting, or at least renumbering the whole list.
I also was mistaken about then the new international signing window opens. I thought it as January 2 but it's January 15. January 15 does not leave enough time to do our profile countdown before the start of spring training so we'll assume Luis Hernandez will sign and if he doesn't we'll edit him out of the list and add a player from the Honorable Mentions, probably Dylan Carmouche.
Rather than repost the list, we removed the preliminary designation from the posts of December 16, 27 and 29. if you wish to refresh your memory you may scroll down the page or look them up in the archives listed to the left.
We'll start our profiled with the Dominican Dandies, move on to the Honorable Mentions then count down the Top 50 list itself.
Thank you for the input everybody. I did take each one into serious consideration.
