DrB's 2026 Giants Top 50 Prospects: Honorable Mention(ACL)

Quite a few of the better ACL prospects graduated to higher levels and the roster was filled with multiple rehabbing players throughout the season.  Here are five players who finished the season on the ACL Giants roster who I think deserve Honorable Mention in DrB's 2026 Giants Top 50 Prospects(on further review I removed Marlon Franco RHP from the HM list):

Santiago Camacho C.  DOB:  1/27/2007.  B-S, T-R.  5' 11", 176 lbs. Rule 5 Eligible Dec. 2028.  2025(ACL):  .234/.295/.426, 5 HR, 6.4 BB%, 16.0 K%, 156 PA.

I was not able to find a scouting report.  Switch-hitting catchers with some power don't grow on trees.  Although the walk rate is a bit on the low side, it comes with a low K rate which combined with moderate power(approximately 20 HR/600 PA) makes for a pretty nice package with 3 more years of development before he has to be exposed to the Rule 5 Draft.  I would like to see the Giants challenge him by moving starting 2026 in San Jose.

Andy Polanco OF.  DOB:  4/29/2005.  B-R, T-R.  6' 4", 195 lbs.  Rule 5 Eligible ?.  2025(ACL):  .264/.346/.336, HR, 22 SB, 10.4 BB%, 26.4 K%, 163 PA.

Power a bit disappointing for this 11'th round 2024 draft pick but he's still filling out his frame and has projectable power.  Other tools are loud, especially speed and arm(has reportedly hit 90 mph on the mound).  It would be nice to see the Giants be aggressive with him and move him up to SJ to start the 2026 season.

Oliver Tejada OF.  DOB:  12/9/2006.  B-R, T-R.  5', 11", 180 lbs.  Rule 5 Eligible Dec. 2028.  2025(ACL):  .258/.371/.389, HR, 7 SB, 9.1 BB%, 20.9 K%, 230 PA.

Stocky build belies the speed and athleticism to play CF.  You'd like to see a bit more BA and HR in the stat line but it's not a terrible line with BB% is factored in.  Has some time to develop skills to match tools.

Alix Hernandez RHP.  DOB:  DOB:  7/16/2004.  6' 2", 155 lbs.  Rule 5 Eligible Dec. 2026.  2025(ACL):  4-0, 2.51, 14.1 IP, 15.07 K/9, 3.77 BB/9.

Nice numbers in a very small sample.  Was there in injury involved?  Once one of the more highly rated of Giants younger international pitchers, Hernandez seems to have fallen behind due to poor performance for A San Jose in his first attempt at full season ball and the missed time, possibly related to injury.  A pitcher to watch for a possible breakout performance in 2026, but time is running out for him before the dreaded Rule 5 eligibility kicks in.

Nien-Hsi Yang RHP.  DOB:  8/10/2006, 6' 2", 198 lbs.  Rule 5 Eligible Dec 2029.  2025(ACL):  0-0, 5.40, 5 IP, 14.40 K/9, 3.60 BB/9.

Under-the-radar international signing from TaiwanYang reportedly has hit 93 MPH with his fastball.  The sample size here is tiny and it will be interesting to see where he is assigned to start 2026.  Has plenty of time to develop so would not be surprised to see him back in Arizona with opportunity to move up midseason.
