DrB's 2026 Giants Top 50 Prospects: Dominican Dandies

The Giants traded one of my top Dominican Dandies, Miguel Caraballo C, in the Daniel Susac trade, but there are more intriguing prospects in the DSL so let's take a look:

    Thanks for posting the "Dandies" list. It is an interesting development process that has a long way to go before any fruition takes place. I appreciate that you are looking at the whole process it takes to build a mlb farm system.
    I look at making these types of investments similar if one was to invest in a pharmaceutical stock that is developing a breakthrough drug. The odds are very slim for a player at this level to make it to mlb, just as a drug must make it through clinical trials.
    From a business perspective, does it make sense to spend resources on players like these?
    As Brian Sabean once said, "Your farm system’s there for two reasons: to supplement and energize, when needed or when ready, the major-league club, but more so, those are your chips for the outside world to trade from. You just face that fact.”
