AAA: Tacoma Rainiers shut out the Sacramento River Cats 3-0.
Carson Whisenhunt LHP- 7 IP, 7 H, 2 R, 1 BB, 7 K's, 10/2 GO/AO. ERA= 4.14.
6 different River Cats had one hit each. Marco Luciano LF and Grant McCray CF doubled.
AA: Harrisburg Senators obliterated the Richmond Flying Squirrels 9-0.
Diego Velasquez 2B- 3 for 5. BA= .314.
Sabin Ceballos 3B- 2 for 4, 2B. BA= .211.
Jack Choate LHP- 5 IP, 3 H, 2 R, 3 BB, 4 K's, 5/1 GO/AO. ERA= 2.96.
Squirrels lose their last two games by a combined score of 25-0. Seems the hitting is like this for the Giants AA Eastern League teams as far back as I can remember. Their hitting prospects just hit a wall there. Makes what Diego Velasquez is doing there all the more impressive. This year the pitchers are struggling too.
A+: Hillsboro Hops defeated the Eugene Emeralds 7-4.

Rookie ACL: Giants did not play today.
I like seeing the kids getting pushed to go deeper into games in Sactown. 5 and dive shouldn't be the plan with starters in my opinion.
