Helcris Olivares LHP- 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 2 K's.  ERA= 3.68.

AA:  Richmond Flying Squirrels defeated the Somerset Patriots 4-1:

Carter Howell RF- 2 for 4, 2B.  BA= .229.

Bryce Eldridge 1B- 1 for 3, BB.  BA= .303.

Devin Mann 2B- 1 for 3, HR(2), BB.  BA= .294.

Justin Wishkoski 3B- 1 for 3, HR(1).  BA= .250.

Joe Whitman LHP- 6 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 10 K's.  ERA= 5.31.  

Evan Gates RHP- 3 IP, 1 H, 1 R, 1 BB, 3 K's.  ERA= 4.02.

Woo hoo!  6 perfect innings from Joe Whitman.  And it doesn't look like a fluke as he had 10 K's in the process.  Whitman was off to a slow start this season so we'll see if this game is the start of a breakout.

A+:  Everett Aquasox crushed the Eugene Emeralds 10-2:

Bo Davidson CF- 1 for 4, HR(4).  BA= .338.

James Tibbs III- 0 for 2, 2 BB.  BA= .226.

A:  Modesto Nuts buried the San Jose Giants 12-4:

Rookie ACL:  A's outscored the Giants 5-4:

Jhonny Level SS(18 yo):  3 for 5, 2 2B, 3B.  BA= .600.

Rayner Arias LF(19 yo)- 1 for 4, BB, SB(1).  BA= .250.

Ramon Peralta 3B- 4 for 5.  BA= .800.

Dario Reynoso 2B(20 yo):  3 for 5, 2B.  BA= .600.

Argenis Cayama RHP(18 yo)- 4 IP, 2 H, 1 R, 0 ER, 1 BB, 4 K's 7/0 GO/AO.  ERA= 0.00.

Liam Simon RHP(24 yo):  1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 3 K's.  ERA= 0.00.

Sensational first stateside game for Jhonny Level.  Strong start for Cayama who is probably the best pitching prospect from last years's international class. This is a critical year for Rayner Arias.  Job #1 is to stay healthy and get a full season's worth of PA's.
