Luciano has had some big games this season but too few and far between. Hopefully this is the start of something more sustained. Osleivis Basabe is batting .286 in May.
AA: Binghampton Rumble Ponies edged out the Richmond Flying Squirrels 3-2.

There were no noteworthy performances by the Ems in this game. They managed just 2 hits but didn't pitch well.

Farone pitched really well over his first 5 starts but 12 ER in 11 IP over his last 3.
Rookie ACL: Giants outscored the Royals 9-5.

Victor Bericoto RF- 2 for 4, 2B, SB(1). BA= .571.

Jhonny Level(18 yo) and Rayner Arias(19 yo) are probably the top two prospects I'm following in the ACL along with Argenis Cayama RHP(18 yo).
I hope Farone doesn't have an injury. He was dominant earlier this season.
ReplyDeleteAfter a slow start in early April, Carlos Gutierrez has turned it on in May: in 82 PAs ,409/.513/.500 with 9 steals in 10 attempts, 11 walks, 3 HBP, 11 K's.

Gutierrez passes the eye test for power potential.
