  1. What about Bryce Johnson?
Giants need a good CF: is he one?
Fangraphs rates his CF UZR poorly in SSS.
Kapler: Bryce's reputation is that he's a plus center field.
Doc: Johnson OF got the callup and started in CF mostly for his defensive prowess (8/4/2022).
He is undeniably fast and has good SB record, especially in AAA.
Can he hit enough? What is enough?
He has hit well in AAA without power, "only" 27 next year, but played in just 8 ML games: 16 PA, 1 H, 1 W.
Is he still in the picture?
Or will guys like McCray or Vaun Brown pass him?
As Doc has proffered, why not let him play CF, bat 9 to start rallies as game progresses.
With just 13 games to go, PLAY HIM!
    What's to lose?
