Down on the Farm: Salem-Keizer Volcanoes 2018 Season Review

The Northwest League has always been hitter-friendly.   The 2018 Salem-Keizer Volcanoes took that to an extreme with a mashing offense and gas can pitching to a 36-40 record, good for 2'nd place in the South Division but 15 games behind the Hillsboro Hops who were the class of the league.  Top Performers:

  2. Why would he be a bust? Great BB & K, only pitched like 2 innings at a time. He could be one of those guys who gets stronger the more the game goes on and posts 0's the rest of the way. I feel like he could be one of those guys and that there was a lot to like in his around 2 innings of work per starts. I see more positive than negative in his numbers and in him.

  4. Aaron Bond excited for. Hope he cuts down on strike outs in the next levels up and continues the speed/power combo and displays good D. Great name, great size.
