This was Ford's 3'rd HR in as many games.  He is hitting just .244 over his last 10 games but has 4 HR's in his last 6.  Noonan is the latest ex-Giant to land another gig in the organization.  Brett Bochy has quietly pitched well this season.

Short Season  Salem-Keizer Volcanoes topped the Spokane Indians 6-1:

Steven Duggar(CF)- 2 for 4, BB.  BA= .280.

Hinojosa seems to have found something at the plate here.  He is hitting .410 over his last 10 games and is 22 for 59 in his last 13.  In a milb.com article, he attributes his recent success to better pitch selection which he credits to working with S-K hitting coach, Ricky Ward.

  1. What's the word on Gustavo Cabrera. I think I saw his name in one box score and nothing since. Has his wrist not fully healed?

    1. Not sure why people keep asking this question when they keep getting the same answer. I do not have any inside source of information. I get my info from what I can find on the internet. Cabrera hit a triple in something like the second game of the season and immediately exited. He has not been back since. I assume he suffered a bad hammy strain or even tear given now long he's been out. I have no idea when he will be back. I look for his name in the boxscore everyday. When I see it, I will surely let everybody know.
