ERA= 3.86. 4 of the 6 hits came in the fateful 3'rd inning when the Cardinals admittedly hit the ball sharply on all 4, but 3 were ground balls that could just have easily been right at someone for an out or a DP. The rest of the game, he was every bit a match for Waino. In Vogey's last 2 starts he has gone 13 IP, 11 H, 3 R, 1 BB, 15 K's. Both were losses.
Brian Wilson brought his gas can out to the mound in the 8'th inning of the Dodgers' game with Cleveland. Their 5-4 loss keeps the Giants in first place in the NL West by 0.5 games.
