Carson Whisenhunt has allowed 2 runs or fewer while pitching at least 5 innings in his last 3 starts. That comes with 21 K's and 4 BB's in 16 IP. Susac continues to tear it up in his rehab assignment. A disappointing game for those looking for bullpen help for the Giants.

Big games for Diego Velasquez and Jonah Cox. I keep waiting for Velasquez' power potential to show up. Maybe this is a start? Jonah Cox is still batting over .400 almost 6 weeks into the season.

Very little in the OF at SAC, perhaps 2 of Cox, Davidson and Bandura should/will be up there before too long? Great to be seeing WHIZ show some consistency.....Hope McDonald was not to disappointed with his "demotion" and continues his good pitching this weekend...LEVEL is a stud!!!

Please explain how Buster was able to get anything much less the 29th overall pick for Bailey!?!?!?
ReplyDeleteGreat job by Buster and his team getting that draft pick.
DeleteFZ traded Ross Stripling and cash to The Athletics for Jonah Cox February 2, 2024.
ReplyDeleteStripling has been out of baseball since Spring last year.
Is there anything in Cox's record to believe his 2026 start for Richmond is even remotely sustainable? He would still be very good with a 100 point drop in batting average...
