Hey Team! I got a note from a concerned reader who is not diggin' the AI links. I was hoping the links would make it easier for folks to look up stats ons specific players but I agree sometimes the links are to things that are irrelevant or show contempt for our reader's level of knowledge and it often fails to link to less well-known players who are more likely to be the ones folks want to look up. So, I am going to use a rudimentary poll to help guide decisionmaking. In the comments please post Yes if you would like to see the links continue and No if you want them to go away. It's OK to add some comments as to why you have your opinion. Please try to avoid long rants.
As always, thanks for reading and commenting, everybody!
YES, if you don't like them, don't click on them!
ReplyDeleteYes to keep. Although I rarely ever use the links, and probably wouldn't miss it if it's removed. At the same time, it has not bothered me. Just don't click on it if you don't like it.
ReplyDeleteI never use them (though I appreciate the effort of including them). They can go away.

ReplyDeleteYES!
ReplyDeleteNo.

ReplyDeleteNo, prefer not seeing links, but they don't bother me. I liked player's name in bold text more than linked.
ReplyDeleteThis.
DeleteYes! I like them

ReplyDeleteYes, the AI Links are beneficial!
ReplyDeleteAnother Perry! I agree keep the AI links. I use Grok!

ReplyDeleteYes, though I rarely use them. Whatever makes this blog more enjoyable for you to keep producing, doc, I'm good with.
ReplyDeleteYes for me.
ReplyDeleteKeep the links, sometimes help me other times I ignore em. I value your opinion more than the links most of the time.
ReplyDeleteYes, please keep them. Saves a step. Instead of me having to remember how to spell Reiver (e before. i) Sanmartin's (one name, no cap on the "m") name when I Google him, a click is easier.
ReplyDeleteone more comment, I have a feeling this expanded baseball travel schedule we've seen the last couple of years is taking it's toll on teams. I know when I used to fly more, it took a toll on me and has many negatives on young families. But again, most pro ballplayers are young millionaire$ with winters off. We're always making trade offs in life.
ReplyDeleteNah, I don't enjoy em. However, I'm happy for them to stay ...But it might be nice if each and every link didn't stand out like a sore thumb..
ReplyDeleteI appreciate them. Also you didn't give much time for results.
