  1. I like seeing Eldridge off to a nice start at Richmond 68 abs 3 hrs considering he missed action during spring training and early season nursing a wrist injury. He has an impressive short swing for a tall Left handed hitter. Good to see Walker Martin appearing a lot lately in your minor league wrap swinging a hot bat. Hope this is a start of a breakout. That would be something considering Martin was #2 pick behind Eldridge in 2023 draft I believe.

  2. Tibbs has a .360 OBP. Maybe he should try swinging occasionally.

    1. This comment nearly prophetic with Tibbs III going 4-for-4 the next day!

  3. McCray can certainly go on streaks, and he's on a good one the last 5 games: 11 for 17 (.647) with a couple of doubles, a triple, and 5 RBIs.
Perhaps the best news is 5 walks and only 3 Ks. He also has 4 steals and none caughts.
His BA is up from .214 to .319 and his OPS over .900!
'Cats are 3-2 on this streak.

  4. There are 8 "Qualified Players" on the "Hitting" page for the Sacramento Kings.
Hunter Bishop has 148 Plate Appearances, the 3rd most on the team, behind only McCray (191) and Luciano (185).
Of 8 "Qualifed Players" Bishop is:
3rd in HRs (4) tied with 2 players with fewer ABs.
4th in RBIs, 6 behind Luciano who leads the team in HRs and RBIs.
3rd in Ks, 7th in Walks, and leads in Caught Stealing.
8th (of 8) in AVG, OMP, and OPS.
    He is 7th in SLG.
148 PAs is still a relatively small sample size, and Sacramento only has 1 other outfielder (Daniel Jackson signed May 2nd) vying with McCray and Luciano for at bats, nor are any outfielders busting out of Richmond so not much is really lost playing Bishop, so he'll continue to get a chance, but when is enough enough?
