AAA:  Sacramento River Cats outlasted the El Paso Chihuahuas 4-2(10 innings):

Brett Auerbach C- 1 for 3, HR(3), BB.  BA= .250.
Trevor McDonald RHP- 4.2 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 4 BB, 5 K's.  ERA= 3.62.
Antonio Jimenez LHP- 1.1 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 1 K.  ERA= 7.36.
Tristan Beck RHP- 2 IP, 2 H, 2 R, 2 BB, 0 K.  ERA= 2.40.
Joey Lucchesi LHP- 2 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 2 K's, 3/0 GO/AO.  ERA= 3.97.

Auerbach's 2-run HR in the top of the 10'th inning was the difference in the game.

AA:  Richmond Flying Squirrels sank the Akron Rubber Ducks 4-19(Game 1 of doubleheader, 7 innings):

AA:  Akron Rubber Ducks edged out the Richmond Flying Squirrels 2-1(Game 2 of Doubleheader, 9 innings):

A+:  Eugene Emeralds topped the Spokane Indians 6-3(10 innings):

Jonah Cox CF- 2 for 5, 2B.  BA= .250.
Charlie Szykowny 1B- 3 for 5.  BA= .274.

Smith was signed as a minor league last August and makes his affiliated pro debut here.  He is 25 yo and 6' 3", 200 lbs.

  1. I attended the SJ game last night. Carlos Gutierrez has an absolute cannon for an arm. He gunned down a runner at home trying to tag up I was very impressed.
