AAA: Salt Lake City Bees defeated the Sacramento River Cats 4-1:
Carson Seymour RHP- 4 IP, 1 H, 1 R, 0 BB, 5 K's, 2 HBP, 5/1 GO/AO. ERA= 1.00.
Sean Hjelle RHP- 2 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 3 K's. ERA= 1.86.
Antonio Jiimenez LHP- 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 2 K's. ERA= 10.80.
7 River Cats players had one hit each, all singles. Carson Seymour has put up the best numbers of the Cats SP's so far. Sean Hjelle seems to have ironed out his spring hiccups. Arizona is probably not the best environment for his style of pitching. Unfortunately for them, there is not yet an obvious need at the MLB level but there is still a whole lot of innings to fill over the course of the season.
AA: Chesepeake Baysox outscored the Richmond Flying Squirrels 10-6:

Jairo Pomares LF- 1 for 4, HR(3). BA= .256.
Victor Bericoto DH- 2 for 3, 2 2B, BB. BA= .300.

Josh Wolf RHP- 3 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 3 BB, 4 K's. ERA= 2.25.
Brayan Palencia RHP- 2 IP, 0 H, 1 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 4 K's, 3/0 GO/AO. ERA= 2.84.
A: Rancho Cucamonga Quakes beat the San Jose Giants:
Lisbel Diaz RF- 1 for 4, 2B. BA= .261.
Niko Mazza RHP- 3.2 IP, 3 H, 5 R, 0 ER, 3 BB, 4 K's. ERA= 0.00.
Charlie McDaniel LHP- 4.1 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 3 K's. ERA= 2.16.
The Young Giants managed just 3 hits in the game. The Quakes scored all 5 of their runs in the 4'th inning. The sequence went K, E5, GB single, IF single, walk(Run), Force Out 2B(Run), walk, walk(Run), (Pitching Change)2-Run LD single. That's rough!
It was premature to send Hjelle to the minors based off the SSS of spring training alone. He’s always been that guy who when he gets hit, he gets hard, but then he has long stretches of dominance in between.
