DrB's Post-Draft Giants Top 30 Prospects

You asked for it, you got it.  Here is my revised Giants Top 30 Prospects list post draft.  IMO, 3 of the 7 picks deserve inclusion in the new Top 30:  First rounder Patrick Bailey, Compensation Pick #67 Nick Swiney and third rounder/bonus baby Kyle Harrison.  Here's how it shakes out:

1.  Joey Bart C
2.  Heliot Ramos OF
3.  Marco Luciano SS
4.  Patrick Bailey C
5.  Hunter Bishop OF
6.  Logan Webb RHP
7.  Mauricio Dubon IF/OF
8.  Will Wilson IF.
9.  Seth Corry LHP
10. Alexander Canario OF
11.  Jairo Pomares OF
12.  Luis Matos OF
13.  Luis Toribio 3B
14.  Tyler Rogers RHP
15.  Sean Hjelle RHP
16.  Kyle Harrison LHP
17.  Nick Swiney LHP
18.  Jaylin Davis OF
19.  Dany Jimenez RHP
20.  Camilo Doval RHP
21.  Melvin Adon RHP
22.  Gregory Santos RHP
23.  Jake Wong RHP
24.  Chris Shaw OF/1B
25.  Conner Menez LHP
26. Caleb Baragar LHP
27.  Aramis Garcia C
28.  David Villar 3B
29.  Logan Wyatt 1B
30.  Sandro Fabian OF.

Some folks may be surprised with Patrick Bailey at #4 ahead of Hunter Bishop.  I actually am more of a believer in Bailey's bat than Bishop's.  While Bishop is a great athlete, he's not a lock to play CF and I don't know if he has enough bat for a corner.  Bailey has a better shot at the premium position.

As for Harrison and Swiney, it seemed like there was a natural tier break right behind Hjelle at #14.  Swiney has the higher floor due to his college pedigree, but we've got to believe the Giants think Harrison has the higher ceiling and by a pretty big margin.

I would likely put Casey Schmitt somewhere in the #31-50 range with Jimmy Glowenke, RJ Dabovich and Ryan Murphy would be Honorable Mentions until we see them play which won't be until 2021 if we are lucky.
