The entire Squirrels lineup has been in a brutal slump mirroring what's going on at the MLB level. Case in point Adrian Sugastey who was batting .231 on May 23 then went 0 for 24 over his next 7 games. And now their best hitter is promoted to AAA.

Beat writers report Bryce Eldridge 1B and Trent Harris RHP are promoted to AAA Sacramento. Given the Giants struggles at 1B this promotion for Eldridge appears to significantly raise his chances of a MLB debut this season. Trent Harris is on the Closer fast track.

ReplyDeleteWith Miller's issues of walking batters, Lucchesi may need to be the next call up candidate and I think they should have a conversation in Sacramento about converting Mason Black into a reliever.
