There are so many great things going on in the Giants farm system it's easy to forget what a great season Jhonny Level is having. As long as it's promotion season, isn't it about time to move Jacob Bresnahan up to AA?

Cox really needs to come up and be played, leading off. He can be a real table setter. The sooner the better. He's not exactly young at 25.

ReplyDeleteit also seems like Turner Hill‘s turn. I realize he is old at 27 but he signed late and is up for Rule 5 this year. What more does he have to prove?

ReplyDeleteAgree that at 27, this is Turner Hill's turn as well as Jonah Cox's, especially given what the Giants are throwing out on the field now... I remeber some prospect guru's being really high on Turner Hill last year and he has only gotten better....Let's see what they Have! McCray doesn't have it and Gilbert is Gilbert.
ReplyDeleteBresnahan was a GREAT get 2 years ago in the COBB trade..possibly the best SP in the NW league. .Hope we see him in RIchmond before the season is out..!
And Johnny Level, oh my! Seemed to hit a wall about a week or so ago but has come back with a vengance!!
And so correct, so many good things to follow in the Minors. Buster and GMZM (if he does anything) have gotten that right!

Yep, Gilbert has gotten more than enough of look. He's a 4-5th OFer, not a starter.
DeleteFor Grant, I think they want to be sure, before cutting him loose. (Giants have to be questioning themselves. Not that Tibbs or Luciano have translated very impressive AAA numbers into MLB success...but why are top prospects that they gave up on performing so well in other organizations)

(leaving Davidson off that list presumptuous that he'll be ahead of that pack in significance, or at least that we all agree to blindly believe that) I'll say Cohen which I expect would win a poll on the topic, right?
