Bandura's, Harber's, Cohen's, Level's, and Gonzalez's numbers are impressive by themselves. And they become even more impressive when you consider these numbers are after mid-year promotions.
ReplyDeleteMally's career will be interesting to watch. In 68 PAs he was 20 hits and 9 BBs. of the 20 hits, 1 is a double and 2 are triples. He is already 22, so he is not to young to display power. I am curious to see him next year after a conditioning program.
Mally just turned 22 one week ago which means he’s going to be 22 years old for the majority of next season. A+ seems a likely starting place for him as a 22 year old. That’s not too old. Even being a 21 year old college player who just turned 22, his numbers are still very impressive for A because it’s a tough adjustment coming straight from college to pros with no break in between
Deletethe Richmond - Portland game (8-7 Squirrels) had a bit of everything and showed how getting balls in play can turn a game into action central. one of the best minor leagues i've ever seen. it helped that the temp had dipped into the 70's. -es

DeleteBandura's triple was against position player pitcher late in the game. His singles were all SOLID line drives.
ReplyDeleteReno play-by-play guy was falling all over himself lauding the SF.
Bresnahan gave up A grand slam in the first inning, meaning he went the last five innings in shutout mode and collected 10 strikeouts - He's also been very reliable in giving at least 6-innings. Guy has completely come alive in the second half of the season this year, same as last year!
