The game was tied at 0 after 9 innings. The two teams traded runs in the 10'th and 12'th inning before the Sea Dogs scored 3 in the top of the 13'th and the Squirrels fall short with 2 in the bottom of the 13'th.

What happened to Gavin Kilen? He's been out of the lineup for a week or two but no injury report I could find.
ReplyDeleteKillen is on the 7 day IL sadly. Dakota Jordan also is someone who I haven’t been able to find out what exactly his injury is but he’s been on the 7-day IL for a month down
DeleteFrom Roger Munter: He’s (Jordan) down in Arizona, rehabbing his leg. He was removed from a game at the end of July after running awkwardly down to 1b in his final at bat — sounds like it’s a groin strain. Nothing serious, but the calendar is working against him, as the rehab for nearly all muscle strains is measured out in weeks, not days. He’s not playing in Bridge League games yet. Hopefully, they’ll have time to get him back on the field before Richmond’s post-season begins in just over a month. It would be a massive bummer for Dakota to miss his playoff action for a second straight season.
