  1. Doc, now that Matos and Luciano are in the majors who are the position player prospects that I need to keep my eyes focused on?

It looks like Vaun Brown, Joey Bart have fallen on rough times. Arteaga, has had a rough season in Eugene (like many of the Giants prospects). Anyone else who could be an impact player or has the farm been emptied out with all these aggressive promotions?

    Thanks,

    1. Wade Meckler is obviously doing well at AA which is historically where Giants hitting prospects flounder so it's worth keeping an eye on. Arteaga is still quite young for A+ and seems to have finally caught fire so I am still bullish on him. Obviously the new first round draft pick Eldridge is someone to watch. The one prospect who I think has true superstar potential is Rayner Arias. He's just 17 but was obviously way too advanced for the DSL. He seems to be out right now with an injury which I hope is not too serious but I expect him to move fast once he is back playing again.

    2. BTW, I am going to the game in Rancho Cucamonga tonight to check in on the contingent of young international players with the SJ Giants: Diego Velasquez, Onil Perez and Jose Ramos.
