  1. With Joey Bart on the way, does that make Aramis Garcia somewhat expendable/tradable?

    1. First of all, Aramis Garcia has close to zero trade value. Secondly, you don't put all your chips on a single catching prospect, even if he is #2 overall. Maybe down the road if they are both ready for MLB at the same time, but not now.

    2. Don't forget Ricardo Genoves too, it will be interesting what happens with him at C, but yeah, zero trade value, for either, unless there is a team that is desperately in love with either.

  2. The Shark!

    According to KOB4 ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.:

The first Mariachis de Nuevo Mexico game in May set an attendance record for Isotopes Park, but fans may have even more incentive to buy a ticket to the team's second promotional transformation on TUESDAY.

According to team officials, Major League veteran Jeff SAMARDZIJA will toe the rubber for the visiting Sacramento River Cats on a rehab assignment before rejoining the San Francisco Giants at the major league level. He's slated to throw around 70 pitches.
