Free Victor Bericoto! Sanmartin is on a rehab assignment. Tristan Beck made two solid appearances in a brief MLB call up, admittedly in lower leverage situations. He has 5 consecutive scoreless appearances totaling 9 innings between AAA and MLB. Wilkin Ramos having a strong AAA season.
AA: Binghampton Rumble Ponies out hit the Richmond Flying Squirrels 10-7.

How long does Jonah Cox need to keep this up before we decide he is too good for AA? Note Parks Harber playing LF.

Jhonny Level's bat had cooled off a bit but he came roaring back with 2 HR's in this game.
ACL: Giants were idle.
I agree with the "Free Bericoto" idea. They would have to add him (and cut loose someone else) to the active roster though, yeah? The other guy that keeps hitting is Buddy Kennedy. Unless someone gets injured though, we probably won't see him.
ReplyDeleteWondering if players will be promoted after the draft? Might be a good idea to move Level up a level sooner rather than later though since he is showing the ability to bounce back after a challenge
ReplyDeleteBericoto’s second home run was an absolute bomb. 459. Warm day in Sac yesterday but not much wind help.
ReplyDeleteFeeling some George Foster vibes with Bericoto.
ReplyDeleteNo worries, we'll be sure trade him in for the '26 version of Frank Duffy.
DeleteAfter a collective 0-14 last night and the closing mean average of .150 for the 3 "outfielders" last night, BERICOTO couldn't be called up quick enough..There are about 15 players you can cut loose.

Level hit a HR batting right and another batting left. This glut of toolsy middle infielders is about the only exciting thing in Giants world these days.
ReplyDeleteAndy in OC
Johnny Level gives a little Jose Altuve. I'm getting really high on him, looks good/confident
ReplyDeleteAJ Ewing is a more heralded prospect than Cox, but he also started the year in AA and is now in the majors. Time to move Cox up to AAA?
