 AAA:  Salt Lake City Bees swarmed over the Sacramento River Cats 11-1.

Grant McCray CF- 1 for 4, 2B.  BA= .265.
Drew Ellis 1B- 2 for 4, 2B.  BA= .200.
Zach Morgan C- 2 for 4.  BA= .400.

River Cats got blown out early in this one falling behind 9-0 in the first two innings and never recovered.

AA:  Richmond Flying Squirrels edged out the Altoona Curve 2-1.

Turner Hill CF- 2 for 4.  BA= .221.
Diego Velasquez 2B- 1 for 4, 2B.  BA= .283.
John Bertrand LHP- 6 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 2 K's, 9/2 GO/AO.  ERA= 3.50.

A+:  Vancouver Canadians blanked the Eugene Emeralds 4-0.

Shane Rademacher RHP- 5 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 2 K's.  ERA= 2.84.

A: San Jose Giants defeated the Modesto Nuts 3-1.

Dakota Jordan CF- 2 for 4, BB, SB(21).  BA= .307.
Jakob Christian LF- 2 for 5, 2B.  BA= .286.
Lisbel Diaz RF- 2 for 5.  BA= .243.
Elian Rayo 3B- 2 for 5, 2B.  BA= .217.
Drake George RHP- 4 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 0 BB, 4 K's.  ERA= 3.48.
Darien Smith RHP- 3 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 3 K's, 6/1 GO/AO.  ERA= 1.04.

Complex teams had their standard Sunday off.

  3. A shout out for John Michael Bertrand: Much improved since a mostlty very bad April, just one bad start (of 5) in May and a very nice June. Too many BB's but looks to be improving.
    His 2-6 record would be better with some run support.
    Meanwhile, the Flying Squirrels have won 3 of 4 games, losing Saturday 1-0 managing just 4 singles.
