Apology
I just want to apologize for misjudging the comment to the Mariners Hot Stove post. I'll try to do better.
I am going to take a day or two to regroup. Next post probably Friday 4/24/2020.
Looking forward to the NFL draft. I don't follow football that much anymore, but hey, it's some live action related to sports!

No need from my viewpoint -- I do get overbearing and, IMO, you have the absolute best blog on the internet.
ReplyDeleteIt's a must read for me and when you take a well deserved day off, a lot of us miss your insight. A lot.
My point was one you have censored before and warned you would, so I deserved it!
Maybe we could have a post about what directions the Giants should go in over the next few years?
ReplyDeleteI agree that Bart and Ramos are probably one year away. But I also think that the Giants of the Sabean/Evans era would have continued to bring in veterans in positions where they have solid prospects who should get a substantial chance. Then Bochy would tend to play the veterans and not allow the younger players enough at bats to get established. I was a Bochy fan (hard not to be when they win three world series). But this was one thing that always frustrated me a bit. So far, Farhan hasn't had the opportunity to bring major propsects to the big league club, so the jury is still out on how he handles these situations.
Thanks for the blog doc. I have been a daily reader for years and every post is a nice distraction these days.
