Kruz Schoolcraft LHP, HS. DOB: 4/18/2007. B-L, T-L. 6' 8", 229 lbs.
Schoolcraft is a legitimate 2-way prospect but at this point it appears his future is in pitching where he has the tools to be a true ace. Fastball that reaches 97 MPH, a wipeout slider and a plus changeup. On the position side, he's a better defender at 1B than hitter and 6' 8" hitters are challenged to control the strike zone. On video Schoolcraft has an easy 3/4 delivery that's more "tall and fall" and does not appear to require full effort. He is committed to Tennessee and may be tough to sign but if he goes pro, he can be a fast mover as a pitcher and will probably be pitching in the majors by the time he is draft eligible again. He will probably rank higher on my board than MLB Pipeline's current #9.
Thanks for the Draft prospect summaries...I don't know much about them...but some damn cool names on these guys!!

Yeah I give this kid a good chance of making it on his name alone.
