The Giants dominated the Mariners on both sides of the plate in a runaway win. Key Lines:
Mike Yastrzemski RF- 2 for 5, HR(9). BA= .297. YtY got the Giants scoring started with a 3-run bomb in the 3'rd inning. He's fallen behind Fernando Tatis Jr in the WAR race with 2.4 fWAR to Tatis Jr's 3.0.
Wilmer Flores DH- 2 for 3, 2 2B, BB. BA= .291. Flores has an OPS of 1.049 vs LHP's vs .772 against RHP's.
Joey Bart C- 2 for 4. BA= .283. Bart is hitting .414 for September with just one hitless game, an 0 for 1 on 9/6.
Tyler Anderson LHP- 6 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 4 K's. ERA= 4.50. After giving up 11 ER in 8.2 IP over his last two starts, Anderson dominated for 6 innings in this one. He's under team control for 1 more season of arbitration eligiblity. My guess is the Giants will try to re-sign him but won't tender a contract if unsuccessful.

Well, well! Look what The Churn turned up! Remember when some Giants fans who tend to post on another blog thought they should have drafted Justin Smoak instead of Buster Posey in 2008? Well, Smoak is now a Giants having signed a minor league deal and being assigned to remote camp.
