The Cats trailed 1-0 until Charlie Szykowny's walk-off 3-run HR in the 9'th inning. Since moving back into the rotation after a very odd 6-week bullpen stint, Joe Whitman's line is 0-1, 2.25, 24 IP, 3 BB, 21 K's. He is Rule 5 eligible this fall.
AA: Akron Rubber Ducks sank the Richmond Flying Squirrels 13-4.

Ceballos falls in line with the types minor league players who generally don’t find success in MLB. The ones with lower avengers who strike out a lot but have some power. Kyle Haines has spoken in interviews about those types of players vs players on the minors who do a better job controlling the strike zone with higher averages, lower strike outs and better K/BB ratios. Apparently those types of players are more likely to develop some power later on in the majors as opposed to low batting average/high strikeout power hitting minor leagues getting better at hitting for average in the bigs
