Now that's what I'm talking about! Josh Bostick has the tools to be a MLB SP if he can consistently command his pitches. Over his last two starts he's allowed 0 ER in 11 IP with 19 K's and 4 BB's. Tibbs continues his power surge with his 6'th HR in his last 10 games.

ReplyDeleteLonsway has always had the stuff. His control/command has always been inconsistent. His numbers are better this year in pitcher- friendly environment, but he's running out of time to put it all together.

ReplyDeleteNorthwest League is certainly interesting: 4 teams are within 1½ games of 1st place and the entire league of 6 teams is only separated by 3.0 games.
ReplyDeleteIn the California League, San Jose Giants @ 30-21 have won 8 of their last 10 leaving them 3 games out. Cavanaugh has 6 HRs, a triple, and 5 doubles in 86 ABs with an OPS of 1.039, team has 6 players above .800 OPS.
SJ Giants opening an interesting series this week in Rancho Cucamonga to play the California League leaders.
