  1. One of the nice aspects of this blog is that, when the major league team is unwatchable, there is always going to be a sign of hope somewhere in the minors.

    For example, I look forward to entering September 2027 wondering if rookie second baseman Furman will hold his .404 batting average through the end of the season to become the first major leader to hit .400 in upwards of a century. :)

  3. I really believe this is the deepest farm system offensively the Giants have had since maybe ever. It’s always been hard to get bats to sign here in free agency which is why I have been in favor of drafting offensive players over pitching in the high rounds and it could finally be paying off. The future isn’t hard to see with promising options all over the diamond. Much less in the way of elite pitching prospects but maybe they decide to spend on pitching instead of bats in a few years when we have a dirt cheap homegrown lineup.
