 AAA:  Sacramento River Cats outscored the El Paso Chihuahuas 9-8.

Wade Meckler RF- 2 for 3, 2B, 2 BB.  BA= .271.

Luis Matos CF- 1 for 4, HR(7), BB.  BA= .260.

Bryce Eldridge 1B= 1 for 3, HR(13), BB.  BA= .238.

Drew Ellis 3B- 1 for 3, HR(6), BB.  BA= .210.

Hayden Birdsong RHP- 3 IP, 3 H, 4 R, 3 ER, 5 BB, 4 K's.  ERA= 5.59.

Keaton Winn RHP- 1 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 1 K.  ERA= 8.85.

Whatever went awry with Birdsong's control does not appear to be getting better.

AA:  Chesapeake Baysox shut out the Richmond Flying Squirrels 6-0.

Dayson Croes 3B- 2 for 4.  BA= .375.

Jack Choate LHP- 2 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 5 K's.  ERA= 3.32.

A+:  Hillsboro Hops crushed the Eugene Emeralds 17-1.  

Charlie Szykowny 1B- 1 for 3, HR(18), BB.  BA= .264.

Esmerlin Vinicio LHP- 2 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 5 K's.  ERA= 5.78.

Charlie Szykowny continues his late season surge.  Can he overcome Richmond curse next season? Since a disastrous May in which he hit just .193, he's batted .291 with 14 HR in 268 AB.

A:  Fresno Grizzlies topped the San Jose Giants 5-4.

Jhonny Level SS- 2 for 4, HR(2), BB.  BA= .273.  

Niko Mazza RHP- 5 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 3 BB, 4 K's, 6/1 GO/AO.  ERA= 2.17.

Ricardo Estrada LHP- 3 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 3 K's.  ERA= 2.43.

Giants and their fans have to be ecstatic at how far Jhonny Level has come in his second pro season at age 18.  Will they push him to A+ to start next season?

DSL's regular season ended yesterday.  Playoffs start tomorrow. Both Giants Orange and Giants Black are in.
