Someone mentioned him in a comment a few days ago, but we need to sit up and take notice of what this kid is doing. First of all, remember he was a $1.2 M international bonus baby in July 2, 2019 out of Venezuela. Then COVID wiped out the 2020 DSL. He's now 18 yo and getting his first pro game experience with Giants Orange in the Arizona Complex League.
"When the Giants Come to Town..." is my blog intended to chronicle my thoughts on San Francisco Giants baseball. My special interest is in prospects and the farm system, but of course, will comment on all aspects of the San Francisco Giants. I will also comment on baseball in general, particularly from a fantasy baseball perspective. I hope you will find the site informative, and invite you to join in the discussion.

Down on the Farm: Aeverson Arteaga
I have to say my impression has been that he's defense-first SS who might hit a little someday. Well, he's hotter than the heatwave down in Arizona. He had a stupendous game tonight going 3 for 5 with a double and 2 HR's giving him 6 HR's in just 55 AB. He's hitting .400.
Wow! Talk about helium!
Nice to hear Doc!
ReplyDeleteWill keep tuning in.
On a different point, very concerned we have not heard a word on Kuip
Very disconcerning.
Richard in Winnipeg.
