"When the Giants Come to Town..." is my blog intended to chronicle my thoughts on San Francisco Giants baseball. My special interest is in prospects and the farm system, but of course, will comment on all aspects of the San Francisco Giants. I will also comment on baseball in general, particularly from a fantasy baseball perspective. I hope you will find the site informative, and invite you to join in the discussion.

Scouting the 2020 Draft: Jordan Westburg
Jordan Westburg SS, College(Mississippi St). B-R, T-R. 6'3", 205 lbs.
2018: .248/319/.388, 11 2B, 2 HR, 10 BB, 35 K, 121 AB.
2019: .294/.402/.457, 21 2B, 2 3B, 6 HR, 7 SB, 39 BB, 69 K, 265 AB.
Big college SS with some power and potential for more. Fangraphs Boys think he's more of a 3B longterm. Good selectivity but it comes with some K's. Definitely not a top 15 pick. Probably not my first choice for the Giants at #49 either, but will likely be drafted somewhere in that range.
