Joan Gregorio coming on strong. Don't forget he's on the 40 man roster. Romo gives up a dinger, but strikes out the side in his first rehab appearance.

I didn't look it up, but this seems like Crick's longest start in almost forever. This was just Arroyo's second dinger of the season?

Fireflies are the Mets affiliate, formerly the Savannah Sand Gnats. Bickford now has 50 K's against 10 BB's in 43 IP.
Love to see Shaw meet the big bad Eastern before too much longer.
ReplyDeleteCan't figure out Ray Black. It seems like he has three appearances in a row like this one and then he has one where he goes 2/3 of an inning and gives up 4 runs. Is he inconsistent with his mechanics?
ReplyDeleteI watched the Bickford game yesterday. First, Fox has 15 errors in 44 gms already and basically Fox with Geraldo cost the game. Geraldo couldn't handle a lob from Fox who made a spectacular play to even get to the ball. With that said, all 3 are pretty young, but Bickford is way below his level. This kid look like he is on a freeway to the big time.
