Mason Black and Keaton Winn go hammered in an historically hitter-friendly environment.

AA:  Somerset Patriots squeaked past the Richmond Flying Squirrels 1-0.

Joe Whitman LHP- 5 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 6 K's, 6/0 GO/AO.  ERA= 4.93.

Squirrels managed just 2 hits.

A+:  Everett Aquasox defeated the Eugene Emeralds 7-4.

Maui Ahuna SS- 1 for 3, 2B, 2 BB.  BA= .343.

Dayson Croes DH- 1 for 3, BB, SB(2).  BA= .305.

Zander Darby 2B- 1 for 4, HR(1).  BA= .250.

Quinn McDaniel LF- 1 for 4, HR(8).  BA= .226.

Zander Darby gets the promotion to A+ and homers.  Second scoreless appearance in row for Farone albeit with too many walks.

A:  San Jose Giants crushed the Stockton Ports 13-3.

Nate Furman 2B- 2 for 2, 2B.  BA= 1.000.

Jose Ramos 2B- 1 for 3, HR(2), SB(14).  BA= .218.

Jeremiah Jenkins 1B- 2 for 4, 2B, HR(2).  BA= .221.

Robert Hipwell DH- 1 for 3, 2B, BB.  BA= .241.

Ryan Slater RHP- 3 IP, 4 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 4 K's.  ERA= 2.77.

Who is Nate Furman, you ask?  He was traded to the Giants in the Alex Cobb deal with the Guardians.  He was on the 60-day IL at the time of the trade and did not appear in any games for AA Richmond.  He started this season on Richmond's 60-day IL and is in a rehab assignment.  He is 24 yo so still a prospect.  I would like to see Jean Carlos Sio, who has quietly had a really good season, get a preview at a higher level before this season is over.
