  1. Susan Slussrr in her recent article on the trade deadline said Bo Davidson is the Giants prospect mentioned the most by other teams scouts and executives she talked to. Good sign that other teams like him too. If he's traded, it better be for a very good player who will play for then for multiple years.

  2. Ragsdale DFA'd to make room for Whisenhunt. I have to believe he' is already subject to an informal trade agreement, as he seems to valuable to release. How about for a Nestor Cortes rental, coming off a bum elbow?

    1. Ragsdale just hasn't pitched very well so I think there is at least a 50-50 he clears waivers.

  3. Crazy talk here but I would rather trade Ramos than Davidson! Ramos has been our best hitter all year but that attitude is toxic. I’m not sure why nobody talks about it more but he is the worst left fielder in baseball and does what he feels like on the bases. It’s a high level of arrogance and the kind of player they may be better off without. Trading him would almost certainly be putting up a white flag for the year and probably next year as well so unlikely but if they could figure out how to package him for pitching and a replacement bat it could change the culture of this team for the better.

    1. Much as I like Davidson as a prospect, I would put the probability he has a career as good as what Heliot has done already at under 50%. Having said that I would not include Davidson in a trade for a rental type player.
