"When the Giants Come to Town..." is my blog intended to chronicle my thoughts on San Francisco Giants baseball. My special interest is in prospects and the farm system, but of course, will comment on all aspects of the San Francisco Giants. I will also comment on baseball in general, particularly from a fantasy baseball perspective. I hope you will find the site informative, and invite you to join in the discussion.

Blogger's Note
Down on the Farm is temporarily out of service due to a very annoying glitch in the milb.com website. The boxscore is shifted way over to the left of the screen and is partially blocked by a milb.com Beat the Streak ad. I don't know if it's just my computer or a problem that everybody is having with the website. If anybody out there knows, how to fix it, the help would be appreciated.
Im looking at milb.com right now trying to find the glitch. I dont see what you were mentioning.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like a maintenance issue on milb. Sites like that update every couple of days. You might have been looking at it while it was being updated?
Also, are you using firefox? Most web designers dont even consider Explorer except as an after thought, so a glitch could be there without knowledge of the site.
Whoa, just noticed the time you posted, DrB. You are up early!
ReplyDeleteThat would fit in with what the other commenter noted, some companies do their maintence in the early morning (though technically it was already 8:48 AM in the east coast, so not too early; maybe they were upgrading the West Coast feed? They often have mirror sites in different regions so that response time is greatly improved.)
It's only happened the last 2 days in the evening. The first time it was cleared up by early morning so I could post then. Today, it was still messed up this AM. We'll see. I see several people mentioned it on the daily minors update over on mccoveychronicles.com so I'm not the only one.
