Would you trade the one that returned the most, or do you want to see Fedex in SF?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7389427040394111033.post-5134296240101186712017-07-16T12:37:20.115-07:002017-07-16T12:37:20.115-07:00To answer your question, I for one join you in roo...To answer your question, I for one join you in rooting for a Hundley trade. He's a good backup catcher wasted here in any event.

To up the ante, I'll root for a trade of Kontos & Gearin. I like both, but as a pair they would do well for a bullpen-starved team in contention. This morning's Doolittle/Madson trade serves as a guide. The pundits describe the A's haul as a modest return for those two relievers, but they got back (a) a ML reliever with similar ceiling (Treinen) who's having an off year and (b)the Nats' 2d and 3d round picks from 2016, both of whom show promise in the low minors.

A deal like that would reinforce the Giants' system and open up spots for a couple of new pitchers, such as Tyler Rodgers and DJ Snelton, both of whom ought to be tested in the majors this year.Jimnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7389427040394111033.post-686140815177368562017-07-16T09:02:55.853-07:002017-07-16T09:02:55.853-07:00No pressure. John Sickles has just started his. Hasn't gotten to the Giants yet. MosesZDhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12702323080585738748noreply@blogger.com
