I was surprised when the Cards picked him up in the first place because they certainly don't seem to have depth problems at any position except maybe catcher. I don't know what team or teams might have an opportunity for Brown, but I think it's time for him and the Giants to move on.

BTW, comments implying that Gary Brown somehow did something wrong during his time with the Giants will not get published.DrBGiantsfanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10699322384438591979noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7389427040394111033.post-66649221663455286192015-04-21T10:27:52.169-07:002015-04-21T10:27:52.169-07:00It looks like the Cardinals also DFA ed Gary Brow...It looks like the Cardinals also DFA ed Gary Brown. Wouldn't imagine he's going to figure it out now, but it wouldn't be a bad thing to have him stored in Sac.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7389427040394111033.post-6670950941584709642015-04-21T08:21:55.422-07:002015-04-21T08:21:55.422-07:00Fargas and Coonrod are early candidates for breako...Fargas and Coonrod are early candidates for breakout prospects of the year in the Giants system. David Lee had an article about Fargas the other day, who is wowing scouts and opposing teams with a plethora of tools. I'm loving his early aggressiveness on the basepaths... I believe he's swiped 3rd 3 or 4 times already.

Augusta gamenotes from last night had Coonrod's fastball in the 90-96 range with a slider that had flashes of above average potential (according to Lee, again). I know the video clips of him from his last start showed a couple hitters WAY behind the fastball. While a few of the bigger names around the organization have scuffled out of the gate, I've got my eyes focused on these two going forward.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7389427040394111033.post-4928282842728473882015-04-21T08:18:39.580-07:002015-04-21T08:18:39.580-07:00How is Delfino doing? How is Delfino doing?MosesZDhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12702323080585738748noreply@blogger.com
