Last 6 games of around 43 IP 27 H and 30K doesn't sound like a flame thrower but if Surkamp is or can add 1-3 mi/hr to his pre-TJ fastball, that can make him a little harder to hit and a huge difference for him because we know he has the other pitches and command..I really want to see him for 3-4 straight games in September..

SteveVAAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7389427040394111033.post-41250706092885884932013-08-26T18:33:16.955-07:002013-08-26T18:33:16.955-07:00Don't know, but my guess is no. What are we doing?

Mac is on a roll. It'll sure be interesting to see what he can do next year in Richmond. If he hits, look out. I wonder if Susac will start the season in AA. He's been injured so much, have they seen enough of him to promote him spring? Duvall is another one who's been limited, but I really have been impressed with him. When he's healthy, he hits. I'd think he'll be in Fresno for opening day. Maybe an interesting corner IF option in the future?

Arroyo will look good in Augusta green next year. I'm guessing he'll join guys like Ragira, Horan and Bednar, as well as some of the 2012 draft picks that are in S-K. Looking at what the Giants have done recently, I'm thinking Arenado, Riley and maybe even Ryder will be in S-K next summer. Arroyo, no way. It seems to me that the Giants are having a hard time finding playing time for a lot of their players, especially players drafted in the last two years.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
