The only reason it wasn't a tape measure HR was the trajectory off the bat was too low.DrBGiantsfanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10699322384438591979noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7389427040394111033.post-64896801709605689522016-03-06T16:07:45.278-08:002016-03-06T16:07:45.278-08:00Majors. And while it's not definitive by itself, it doesn't to give a quantitative reinforcement of something that helps clarify something that's got a degree of subjectivity and confirmation bias associated with it.MosesZDhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12702323080585738748noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7389427040394111033.post-76282157140894477732016-03-06T13:23:56.031-08:002016-03-06T13:23:56.031-08:00I think he is talking about majors from last Septe...I think he is talking about majors from last September.DrBGiantsfanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10699322384438591979noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7389427040394111033.post-69949684317840923252016-03-06T10:47:52.397-08:002016-03-06T10:47:52.397-08:00Are you talking in MLB or in the minors? Are you talking in MLB or in the minors?RainBallhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00725941337502884436noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7389427040394111033.post-52160573428998943782016-03-06T04:20:16.822-08:002016-03-06T04:20:16.822-08:00I was looking up exit velocities yesterday. Both ...I was looking up exit velocities yesterday. Both Parker & Williamson -- with the caveat it is very small sample bias and other issues -- finished in the Top-20 Exit Velocity numbers picked up by Stat Cast last year. Williamson was in the Top-10. Now, there are a ton of issues around that so one can't just jump on the Power Hitting Bandwagon so nobody should try to make a case they're Goldschmidt or Stanton! But it's encouraging.MosesZDhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12702323080585738748noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7389427040394111033.post-70633179373657647242016-03-05T23:32:57.527-08:002016-03-05T23:32:57.527-08:00The new bench/backups all look hungry in a way tha...The new bench/backups all look hungry in a way that I haven't seen in Spring since 2012....some of it almost reminiscent of Blanco.

Meanwhile Tomilson and Brown look solid and confident without pushing.

Interesting tidbits from K & M's broadcast....Arroyo's always had that doughy baby face from some angles but they noted that he is filling out thicker, and talked about future power potential. They also mentioned that to their surprise, Cueto doesn't converse much in English. Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
