Fall...It's kinda suck-it-up time, isn't it?
Falling behind in the first month is rarely fatal, even being last can be overcome because you get to play every body ahead of you and the season is long.
That said, is there anything that we can grab on to to believe this is going to turn around?
Didn't we go through this in the 2nd half last year, always thinking the turn around was the next series?
And it never really happened with the come-to-Jesus moment in the come from ahead loss against the Cubs in the NLDS.
So full of hope in Game 1 to get to this, why would anyone in their right mind think there is going to be a sunrise tomorrow?
I'm is France, been gone since March 24th, everyday the news is worse than the bad news the day before, the clouds are darker, the mornings worse and worse.
But help is on the way, we leave tomorrow for NY on the way to Sacramento. And success against the hated southlanders can really really help.
Please, ye baseball gods, turn off the rain and bring some sunshine beginning April 24th!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7389427040394111033.post-32304190263635734362017-04-24T09:04:18.729-07:002017-04-24T09:04:18.729-07:00I thought Hernandez was supposed to be good defens...I thought Hernandez was supposed to be good defensively. I understand sometimes a player misses a catch or mishandles the ball, but that throw to third allowing the runner to advance to second was boneheaded. The hitting coach doesn't seem to prepare the hitters properly, because it sure didn't look like the Giants scouted the pitchers they have been facing. I'll wait and see what Cain does tonight before I start thinking he is good again, but he sure is pitching better than Shark right now. That said.... Lets go Giants! Its time to beat L.A.!Eriknoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7389427040394111033.post-67946452012839170262017-04-24T03:15:02.143-07:002017-04-24T03:15:02.143-07:00Bumgarner, now on the DL, was the top-starter at 3...Bumgarner, now on the DL, was the top-starter at 3.00. Followed by Cain (3.31) who, frankly, I didn't even want on the Opening Day roster. But the other three -- it's a troika of dumpster fires right now.

And the OF is a complete mess at CF and LF. To the point that Belt's out in LF now.

At least Melancon, after his bad 2-run blown-save, is pitching reasonably well.

But at this point... I just don't know what to say.
