I wish I could say I could care less about it when the "experts" say the Giants farm system is weak, especially at the higher levels, but it still ticks me off. Especially when it seems that a player gets called up and makes a contribution every season, and that the Giants have some quality prospects in AA and higher. Dan Slania's season is a puzzle to me. Why do you think he has been jumping up and down from San Jose to Richmond to Sacramento and back down and back up again? I can't recall offhand any other player hopping around like that in a season.
