If our boy Dr. Andrews didn't sign him up for TJ then you know he has to be pretty healthy.

I really think they shot themselves in the foot when they lowered the bonus amount by more than 50%. Seems like they overreacted just a little bit. To put it in perspective, Hoffman got $3.1 million and he can't even pitch. Aikens last fastball registered 98mph, so he can still pitch and they wanted to give him roughly the same amount.

Sucks to be them. I'm super stoked about our top four of Beede, Garcia, Davis, and Webb. High ceiling polished college arm, two polished college bats, and a mid 90s prep arm. Here's to hoping Webb is the new Crick.mistglnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7389427040394111033.post-28955530661377410072014-07-18T16:09:49.582-07:002014-07-18T16:09:49.582-07:00Let him play for Fresno and see what we can do to ...Let him play for Fresno and see what we can do to revitalize his bat.

I am not sure if Scutaro can play (starting and/or off the bench) more than a couple of games a week.

Pagan update from CSN Bay Area, citing Bochy: unlikely until August at the earliest.BuyLowSellLowernoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7389427040394111033.post-26934792117065613892014-07-18T15:20:08.383-07:002014-07-18T15:20:08.383-07:00Wow! Do you think since we have an issue at 2B that it would be worth to pick him up at the league pro-rated minimum? Maybe a change of scenery would be good. This could be a very low risk/high reward type of deal. Probably would only take like 250-300K to get him.
