Big League glove, hits dingers. He's the MAN.

Crawford is a bum, needs to be traded. Hasn't cut it in the Bigs. Too many errors. Except the dude stepped in from A+ ball, proved himself in the WS and manned SS last year in between two no-D 2B and 3B. Oh, and Craw is still cheap.

Sorry, until Ehire puts down some Big League time, MLB ABs, and proves out as the second coming, I can't see trading Craw, period. Sure, I want to see the kid succeed and give the Giants brass a reason to trade/move Craw or Scoots for Ehire. But that time ain't now.

I can agree that Abreu and Ehire are now 50/50 in who moves forward and I would prefer to keep Ehire for his potential. And Panik is in AA.

Why not just move Crawford to second. He is still young and if Panik turns out to be better he can be traded then. We should be so lucky.

PiLamBear Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7389427040394111033.post-26819995673688471502014-02-28T22:36:39.346-08:002014-02-28T22:36:39.346-08:00Seriously though, Sabes seems to be convinced that...Seriously though, Sabes seems to be convinced that Crawford is ready to kick it up a notch. He did have to battle sore fingers for most of last year. If you traded him now, you might well be selling low. Assuming everybody is healthy in time for opening day, and Adrianza continues to impress as the spring goes along, I would keep him and try to find a taker for Abreu.DrBGiantsfanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10699322384438591979noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7389427040394111033.post-37709695677953704142014-02-28T22:18:16.462-08:002014-02-28T22:18:16.462-08:00It's easy to be a risk taker when you are writ...It's easy to be a risk taker when you are writing a blog, but if I was the occupant of Brian Sabean's office, I'd be listening to offers on Brandon Crawford. He'd be a perfect fit in Yankee Stadium!
