Most likely the problem is with the 40 man roster as either Hernandez or Green would need to be added whereas Williamson is already on.DrBGiantsfanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10699322384438591979noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7389427040394111033.post-42062295765597538572016-06-04T10:11:09.557-07:002016-06-04T10:11:09.557-07:00At the start of the year I'd thought that G. Hernandez was going to be the OF yo-yo this year, filling in when needed, so that Williamson got constant AAA playing time, such as the Giants several times said he needed. But in fact, it's Williamson who has lost AAA playing time for MLB bench time, getting neither game experience nor a chance to establish a big-league rhythm. I'm always certain that Bochy et al know what they're doing infinitely better than I know what they should be doing; but this decision puzzles me. Hernandez has MLB experience, plays all three OF positions ably (or at least did so in ST), and is expendable in that he's not central to the Giants' future plans, unlike perhaps Mac Williamson.campanarinoreply@blogger.com
